Happy 3rd Birthday, Suri Snow

Happy 3rd Birthday, Suri Snow

Suri, I just wanna start off by saying I can't believe that you've been on this earth for the last three years. The honor I get to be your mother is truly one of my biggest joys in this world.

You are such an incredibly fierce little girl with such a big heart. To see you in your role as big sister is just so comforting as your mother. You really care so much for your baby brother; from giving him the food, you don't want to eat and then making sure he doesn't touch or try to break the TV again. We are so grateful that you look out for your "eBay" (CJ).

You started school this year, and you are just so kind to your classmates when your teacher tells me how empathetic you are, and you're wildly in tune with how your classmates feel. That just warms my heart.

You have such an adventurous spirit, which most times scares me half to death. I promise to always encourage you in what you want to pursue and are passionate about because I certainly don't want to project my fears and anxiety onto you.

I love how you really are, my little mini-me; you really mimic everything I do, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I will try my best to always be an excellent example for you. I'm very cognizant of how I interact with your Father because our relationship is the first example of relationships you'll see. I'm working on having a better work-life balance; I know that you see Mommy working, but I don't ever want to glorify being overworked. I want to give you everything that I didn't have, not just material things but a loving home with both your parents working on emulating God's grace here on earth. I won't always get it right, but I will be humble enough to admit it.

The phase you're in now is the "I'm a big girl" phase. I love your independence; even on the days, it slows me up. But I know it's essential you learn to do things your own way.

I love you so much, Mama; you truly are remarkable.

Love,

Mommy

Breakfast at Tiffany’s is such an iconic movie, I’m a huge Audrey Hepburn fan. I thought this would definitely be a wonderful way to pay homage to such a great film and my Creative Director - Tishele, is such a visionary.
